Cynthia McKinney for US President 2008. This past Saturday’s Symposium featured a special guest, Ed Asner, with opening remarks. It was a twelve-hour program, full of heart longing, stories of loss, anger, concern.. uniting families blown apart, or poisoned by toxic dust, asking questions, joining with experts to assess what happened, and how, perhaps, to help stop such atrocities from happening again.
One action picking up some momentum is for an independent investigation of 9/11 by NYC ballot initiative on the Nov. 6th, 2008 general election. This could authorize an independent 9/11 investigation. The last speaker at the Symposium, William Pepper, recently joined as a Commissioner on the New York City 9/11 Ballot Initiative. Dr. Pepper is an International Human Rights Attorney, who was good friends with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who was introduced by another special surprise guest, Cynthia McKinney. On the way into the auditorium, Cynthia told me that she reads Flyby News, and mentioned to the 200 attendees at this event that she learned about this event from an email that morning. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) announced he would move to force a vote next week
on his resolution calling for the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney.
“The momentum is building for impeachment,” Kucinich said in a statement on his Web site.
“Millions of citizens across the nation are demanding Congress rein in the Vice President’s abuse of power."
Kucinich said he plans to introduce a privileged resolution, which would have priority
for a House floor vote, on Nov. 6. A vote on the measure would be required within two days.

Nobody!
Although I admire Dr. Ron Paul's stance against the occupations of the criminal Bush regime, (Only Barbara Lee D-Ca has been better); and I, of course, agree with him when he says bring the troops home immediately and close almost all military bases around the world, there are too many other fundamental differences I have with him. Ron Paul is after all a very conservative Libertarian/Republican who is anti-choice and against single-payer health care, among other things.
I do like Dennis Kucinich and hope he wins the Democratic nomination and hope that if he doesn't he won't endorse another war monger.
I am holding out hope against hope that Cynthia McKinney runs and I will give her my whole-hearted support and endorsement. She is the only one who has been courageous enough to endorse me. Kucinich has endorsed the incumbent Democrat over me.
I hope this clears up any confusion that I endorsed Ron Paul.
As for Ron Paul supporters who are mostly Republicans who want to help with my campaign, I don't see how that is a bad thing. I am an Independent and even though I am a raging progressive, I believe that we need to work together to force a withdrawal of our troops and an end to the murderous empire that enslaves us all. If we would all celebrate what we have in common and work together for a consensus on what separates us, or at least respect for a divergence of opinions, the world would be enriched and a far better place.
Wouldn't it be nice if we did have a "Uniter" and not a "Divider."

n a show of criminal defiance, Citibank/Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Henry M. Paulson Jr., the US Treasury Secretary, and the White House appear to be STILL conspiring to steal and hold on to the $4.5 trillion belonging to Ambassador Lee Emil Wanta, and are hiding behind a blackout which has been imposed to convey the impression that the Settlement is being implemented.
But the real intention of the information blackout is to steal the funds.
As indicated above, the $4.5 trillion funds belonging to Ambassador Wanta, paid to him by the People’s Bank of China in May 2006, and hijacked and then stolen and diverted under the direction of Henry M. Paulson from June 2006 onwards, are held in a Citibank suspense account at Citigroup, at the Citibank offices at 399 Park Avenue, in midtown New York.
On Friday evening, Morgan Stanley conducted a test run for the payment and associated transactions but the securities house’s legal counsel let it be known simultaneously that the bank was not ready with the relevant paperwork, an excuse for non-payment that has been reiterated countless times ever since Paulson first stole the funds.
THE PROVOST MARSHAL VISITS CITIBANK
On Tuesday 30th October, the Provost Marshal, who has the power to arrest the President of the United States for criminal conduct, visited Citibank, and ostensibly as a consequence of his visit, everything was set ready for payment of the $4.5 trillion to be made into the AmeriTrust Groupe, Inc., securities account at Morgan Stanley on Wednesday 31st October, with no delays.
These arrangements were masked by an intensification of the blanket information blackout, the purpose of which, as indicated, appears to be not to provide added security, but rather to obfuscate matters so that the theft of Wanta’s $4.5 trillion can continue. No doubt the perpetrators hoped that we wouldn’t notice this obvious deception. They were wrong, as usual.
CHINESE AUTHORITIES ORDER PAULSON TO PAY OVER THE STOLEN $4.5 TRIILLION
On Tuesday, too, the Chinese authorities ordered Henry M. Paulson – who is now allegedly in a situation where he cannot travel to Europe without being arrested – to pay the stolen funds that they sent over in May 2006, to Ambassador Wanta forthwith.
At about 5.00pm on Wednesday 31st October Michael C. Cottrell, M.S., the Executive Vice President and Treasurer of AmeriTrust Groupe, Inc, telephoned the Editor of this service to state that Morgan Stanley had indicated that a telephone call would be forthcoming on this day, to confirm that the funds had been remitted at long last to the Morgan Stanley securities account.
No such telephone call had been received. It was all a pack of lies and deceit.
Mr Cottrell therefore provided this service with the information contained in this report.
PROVOST MARSHAL SAID TO BE SHOCKED AT THIS STAGGERING U.S. CRIMINALITY
The Provost Marshal is reported (from very reliable US legal community sources) to have commented that he did not believe that such extreme criminality was taking place, until he was made aware of it for himself in the context of his visit to Citibank on Tuesday.
The same legal sources inform us that, given the failure of Citibank to release the funds to the Ambassador’s corporate securities account with Morgan Stanley as of 6.00pm on Wednesday 31st October, the Provost Marshal is understood to be standing by to enforce his powers.

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 1, 2007(AP) Bob Barker famously closed each episode of "The Price Is Right" with a pitch to spay and neuter pets. His successor is taking a stand on a more controversial subject: marijuana. Drew Carey won't tout toking up on "Price," but he defends the use of medical marijuana in a video posted online Thursday on Reason.tv.
"Smell that smell," the 49-year-old comedian says as he walks into a Los Angeles medical marijuana dispensary. "That's the smell of freedom."
The video is one of 20 Carey will host for the Reason Foundation, a nonprofit educational group whose ideas "some people call libertarian" and whose mission is to "advance freedom," said president David Nott.
Carey offered to produce brief documentaries on topics ranging from traffic congestion to immigration for the foundation's Web site, Nott said.
"Drew Carey connects with regular people. ... He has a regular guy's look at things, and that's why this seems like a great thing," he said. "We're interested in freedom across the spectrum, and good journalism about these subjects is important in the world of ideas."
It's Carey's everyman appeal that likely helped him land the coveted job as host of "The Price Is Right." But executives from CBS and Fremantle Media, which produces "Price," had no comment Thursday about Carey's extracurricular work.
Carey also declined to comment Thursday, but he's not shy about his position on medical marijuana.
"I think it's clear by now that the federal government needs to reclassify marijuana," Carey says in the video. "People who need it should be able to get it _ safely and easily."
Though medical marijuana might be controversial, media experts and fans of "The Price Is Right" said Carey's political punditry will have little, if any, effect on the stalwart show or the comedian's career.
"Twenty years ago, this would have been career suicide," said longtime celebrity publicist Michael Levine. "But in the early part of the 21st century, a guy like Drew Carey can come out with his position, and it will not injure him."
Shawn Wells, a 32-year-old office worker from Taylorville, Ill., who has identified himself online as a "Price is Right" fan, said in a telephone interview that Carey's political self-expression is "not going to impact me whatsoever."
"In this day and age, where everything is electronic, everybody knows everything about everyone," he said. "Twenty years ago, Drew Carey could have had the same views and nobody would have known or thought anything of it."
Older "Price" viewers could be turned off by Carey's politics, Wells said, "but I don't think it will make a huge difference."
Since Carey is so new to "Price," he's taking a risk speaking out on such a controversial topic, said Bonnie Diczhazy, who runs a "Price Is Right" fan site. People naturally connect him with the show, said Diczhazy, a 38-year-old artist from Cleveland.
But his outspokenness could also earn him new fans.
"The younger generation could learn something," she said, adding that the medical-marijuana video "doesn't affect whether or not I watch the show at all."
"'Price Is Right' is an icon in and of itself," she said. "I don't think (Carey's videos) would stop people from watching."
Carey's mini-documentaries will appear every two weeks through the end of the year on Reason.tv, Nott said. Future topics include eminent domain, school choice and immigration.
Meanwhile, "The Price Is Right" host will continue to close daily episodes with Barker's traditional spay-and-neuter refrain.
