The first item in this issue is an article about Scott Ritter's statements that British and American leaders can be likened to Nazi war criminals. The subsections give additional references for such an opinion. Item two takes a critical look at Noam Chomsky. Item three is a letter from Dennis Kucinich regarding Richard Sitcha. Last September 18th marked the second year that Richard has had to endure prison for no crime committed, except from the vantage point of post 9/11 abusive lawmaking. My last letter and enclosures to Richard Sitcha were returned - no explanation. We will keep you informed on the case of this human-rights-defender.
Item four is on the music dance celebration event at the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton MA. This will be a special night.

British and American leaders likened to Nazi war criminals

10/08/05 "The Telegraph" -- -- Tony Blair and George Bush were compared to Nazi war criminals yesterday by Scott Ritter, the former UN chief weapons inspector.
"Both these men could be pulled up as war criminals for engaging in actions that we condemned Germany in 1946 for doing," he said.
He said the Prime Minister and the US President were "guilty of the crime of planning and committing aggressive warfare". Speaking in London at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Mr Ritter said the two leaders would have been in a much stronger position if they had got a UN resolution explicitly authorising the invasion.
He also said Britain gained very little from the "special relationship". "Britain gets nothing, other than to say they are America's closest ally in Europe," he said.
Mr Ritter, who was a UN weapons inspector in Iraq between 1991 and 1998, said intelligence services had been correct to say that Iraq's missile programme had been destroyed soon after the first Gulf conflict of 1991.
He recalled how he delivered a report in 1992 stating that the programme had been eliminated. It was met with "stony silence" and he was told that Iraq still possessed 200 missiles.
The inspectors returned to track down the weapons, which never materialised.

Dear Friends, There's a standing argument over whether the Bush administration merely knew in advance about the 9/11 attack and failed to take action to protect Americans, or whether they actually planned the attack. The premise of this argument is, implicitly, that the Bush administration had no connection with Muslim terrorists so that if the latter planned 9/11 then the Bush administration did not, and vice versa.
But articles like the one below suggest that the relationship - between Muslim terrorists and US/UK intelligence agencies - is so close and intimate that they may both have been jointly involved in orchestrating 9/11.
In Profits of War, former Israeli Military Intelligence agent Ari Ben-Menashe describes how Israeli MI orchestrated the 1985 "Palestinian" attack on the cruise ship Achille Lauro (killing an elderly Jewish man in a wheelchair and throwing him overboard) by using middle men to convince the actual perpetrators that they were working for a Palestinian group.
These guys are devious as hell.

Britain recruited terrorists, Meacher claims

AN astonishing claim that M16 recruited Muslim extremists in Britain for terror training abroad has been made by Oldham MP and former cabinet minister Michael Meacher.
Mr Meacher also suggest that a British Muslim held under sentenced of death in Pakistan for beheading a US journalist is being kept alive because he was a British double agent.
The Oldham West and Royton MP makes these sensational claims in an article for Asian News' sister paper, The Guardian.
The former Environment Secretary claims that Britain's 'overseas' security organisation, M16, set about recruiting UK Muslims directing them to support US efforts to overthrow communist governments in Afghanistan and Yugoslavia. He highlights a Delhi-based research foundation that estimates anything up to 200 UK Muslims could have undergone training in overseas terrorist camps under the protection of the Pakistani secret service, the ISI, who were backing the armed Islamic insurrection against the Afghan communist regime and its Soviet backers.

As the noose tightens at the White House, the State Department memo may be the key piece of Plame evidence.
Think it's fair to say that the combination Sunday of the Walter Pincus-Jim VandeHei piece in The Washington Post and George Stephanopoulos' bombshell on television's This Week felt like a tug on the noose around the White House's neck?
The Post article noted that Patrick Fitzgerald, the prosecutor looking into the Valerie Plame investigation, could bring conspiracy indictments against Karl Rove and Scooter Libby - even if he fails to pin down evidence that they violated the Intelligence Identities Protection Act.
Stephanopoulos did them one better: He said to George Will on This Week that a source told him that George W. Bush and Dick Cheney "were actually involved in some of the discussions" about how the White House should deal with Joe Wilson and Plame, his wife.
OK, before we go any further, let's pinch ourselves: I still think it will be awfully difficult for Fitzgerald to bring indictments against high-level officials. Bureaucratic layering is such that high officials typically have five or six degrees of separation from controversial actions, so that they can say "my hands were clean" and some underling the media have never heard of can take the fall.
But the argument against all my buts is the memo.
You are probably familiar with the memo story, which The New York Times broke in mid-July. The Times published Joe Wilson's op-ed on July 6, 2003. By the next day, as he was getting aboard Air Force One to travel with the president to Africa, then-Secretary of State Colin Powell had the key memo in his hand.
The memo, prepared the previous month, was chiefly about the State Department's skepticism that Saddam Hussein had obtained uranium from Niger. But one paragraph, marked "S" for secret, included Plame's name, although it did not specifically identify her as a covert operative. (For the record, Rove's attorney has maintained that Rove never saw the memo until Fitzgerald's office showed it to him.)
To quote from a Washington Post piece by VandeHei and Mike Allen from July 16: "A key mystery in the leak case is how senior administration officials first learned of Plame's identity and her relationship to a key critic of President Bush's Iraq policy, before her name appeared in news reports." One of Fitzgerald's earliest moves was to subpoena phone records from that Air Force One trip.
Bush, of course, was on that plane. It hardly stretches credulity to think that Powell showed his boss the memo - if not because of the Plame mention then because the memo stated his department's view that Wilson's trip had been unnecessary to begin with because the State Department's internal probe had already shown that the Iraq-Niger connection was a fabrication.
And this, I suspect, is where Stephanopoulos' source circles back in to the story. If Bush saw that memo seven days before Novak's story appeared, might Bush himself have been involved in discussions about Wilson and Plame?
Again, there's usually insulation built in between higher-ups, especially the president, and any decision or action that might remotely be considered controversial. And, again, I still think the likelihood of high-level prosecutions is less than 50 percent. But if those prosecutions come, the State Department memo will likely be a key document.

US President George W. Bush allegedly said God told him to invade Iraq
and Afghanistan, a new BBC documentary will reveal, according to details.
Bush made the claim when he met Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas and then foreign minister Nabil Shaath in June 2003, the ministers told the documentary series to be broadcast in Britain later this month.
The US leader also told them he had been ordered by God to create a Palestinian state, the ministers said.
Shaath, now the Palestinian information minister, said: "President Bush said to all of us: 'I'm driven with a mission from God.
'God would tell me, 'George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan'.'
"And I did, and then God would tell me, 'George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq...' And I did.
"'And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, 'Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East.' And by God I'm gonna do it'," said Shaath.
Abbas, who was also at the meeting in the Egyptian resort of Sharm al-Sheikh, recalled how the president told him: "I have a moral and religious obligation.
"So I will get you a Palestinian state."
A BBC spokesman said the content of the programme had been put to the White House but it had refused to comment on a private conversation.
The three-part series, "Elusive Peace: Israel and the Arabs", charts the attempts to bring peace to the Middle East, from former US president Bill Clinton's peace talks in 1999-2000 to Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza strip.
The programme speaks to presidents and prime ministers, their generals and ministers, about what happened behind closed doors as the peace talks failed and the intifada grew.
The series is due to be screened in Britain on October 10, 17 and 24.

Noam Chomsky is often hailed as America's premier dissident intellectual, a fearless purveyor of truth fighting against media propaganda, murderous U.S. foreign policy, and the crimes of profit-hungry transnational corporations.
He enjoys a slavish cult-like following from millions leftist students, journalists, and activists worldwide who fawn over his dense books as if they were scripture. To them, Chomsky is the supreme deity, a priestly master whose logic cannot be questioned.
However as one begins to examine the interviews and writings of Chomsky, a different picture emerges. His books, so vociferously lauded in leftist circles, appear to be calculated disinformation designed to distract and confuse honest activists. Since the 1960's, Chomsky has acted as the premier Left gatekeeper, using his elevated status to cover up the major crimes of the global elite.
His formula over the years has stayed consistent: blame "America" and "corporations" while failing to examine the hidden Globalist overclass which pulls the strings, using the U.S. as an engine of creation and destruction. Then after pinning all the worlds ills on American imperialism, Chomsky offers the solution of world government under the United Nations.
In his book "The Conspirator's Hierarchy," Dr. John Coleman named Chomsky as a deep cover CIA agent working to undermine social protest groups. Certainly Dr. Coleman's claims appear validated by an honest review of Chomsky's role as a Left gatekeeper.
Since 9-11, he has steadfastly refused to discuss the evidence of government complicity and prior knowledge. Furthermore he claims that the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Bilderberg Committee, and Trilateral Commission are "nothing organizations." When critiquing poverty, he never mentions the Federal Reserve and their role in manipulating the cycle of debt.
Similarly, he claims the CIA was never a rogue organization and is an innocent scapegoat; that JFK was killed by the lone assassin Lee Harvey Oswald; that the obvious vote fraud in 2004 did not occur; and that peak oil is real and good for humanity.
What he does advocate is population control, gun control, support for U.N.E.S.C.O., and the end of national sovereignty in favor of a one-world government under the UN. In other words, the major goals of the New World Order.
Chomsky's role in propaganda paradigm is much like that of Karl Marx: to present a false liberation ideology which actually supports the desired solutions of the elite. Marx pointed out the inequalities and brutality of capitalism and then advocated a one world bank, army, and government with the abolition of private property and religion; in other words, the major goals known of the New World Order.

Thank you for contacting me regarding the case of Richard Sitcha. I appreciated hearing from you.
Richard Sitcha is a paralegal from Cameroon who worked on a controversial case, the "Bepanda 9," in which he assisted the families of nine youths who were disappeared by the secret police of Cameroon. It was discovered that the nine youths were executed based on orders from the government. For his work on this case, Sitcha was tortured and threatened with death by the secret police. Richard fled Cameroon for Hartford, Connecticut in early 2001.
On January 16, 2003, he was granted asylum in the United States. Then on September 18, 2003, he was summoned to court where his asylum was revoked on grounds that his information from Cameroon could not be corroborated. The U.S. government then endeavored to have Sitcha deported to Cameroon, where he may face more torture and possibly death. According to documents now on file, the inquiry into information from Cmeroon was made with either the wrong persons or witnesses under too much duress to freely speak.
Under former law, Sitcha would have been released pending appeal, but under post-9/11 regulations he was immediately jailed. Moreover, he was sent to the Connecticut maximum-security prison, where he was housed with hardened criminals. Sitcha ended up being beaten so badly by his cellmate that he was hospitalized and put on suicide watch.
Please be assured that I will continue to monitor this situation and keep your thoughts in mind. Furthermore, please be assured that I have voted against legislation that harms genuine refugees from gaining asylum in the United States. For example, I voted against H.R. 418, the Real ID Act, offered by Rep. Sensenbrenner, because it would place an enormous and unnecessary burden on refugees to prove with unrealistic precision the exact reasons for their persecution.
