Editor's Notes:

Flyby News is looking forward to the Iowa and NH primary events. Among other announcements, this issue includes a forum sponsored by Flyby News on the eve of the NH Primary, which features the first 3 segments of Frank Dorrel's film, "What I've Learned About US Foreign Policy: The War Against the Third World." All candidates and supporters are invited to discuss your interests and policies regarding the points in the film and US foreign affairs. Election 2004 offers an opportunity for now or never for this experiment in an evolving democracy to live or die. Don't take it for granted!

Here is a link to one scenario from 911review.org

What's next? That's a good question, as we have no reason to believe that they will stop at the massacres of 9/11 and the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. www.911review.org/Wiki/WhatsNext.shtml

New FTW story -- Britain's "The Guardian" is reporting that the US has just opened a new front in the war on terror. Guess where? West Africa, as we have been predicting for 18 months. Not much coverage in the US but a sure sign that where oil is, the US is heading. US Opens New Front in War on Terror

3) US Constitution In Crisis & Election 2004

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

US Constitution In Crisis & Election 2004

Flyby News is sponsoring a "Candidate and Supporters Forum" on the eve of the NH Primaries at the Keene Public Library -- Monday -- January 26 -- 6:00 to 9:00 pm - Ruth Huntress Auditorium. All candidates and supporters are welcomed to join this forum regarding US foreign policy. Flyby News has been independent and free news resource on the Internet since its earlier work in reporting on NASA's high risk flyby of Earth in 1999. You can find resources on this and other concerns 'for life's survival in the 21st Century' @ FlybyNews.com.

All candidates and supporters are welcomed to join this free event!

The following is an outline:

6:00 - 6:30 pm -- Introduction -- about forum
6:30 - 7:00 pm -- "What I've Learned About US Foreign Policy"
Excerpts of a film by Frank Dorrel documenting CIA-covert operations.
7:00 - 7:15 pm -- Form group meetings, each group representing support of a Candidate
7:15 - 8:15 pm -- Each group has a representative(s) to address the audience about the platform of Candidate regarding issues in the film or US foreign policy.
8:15 - 8:45 Conclusions?
We may also show a video speech by Dennis Kucinich, called "A Prayer for America" responding to the loss of civil liberties following September 11, 2001.

The Dorrel film begins with film clips of speeches by Martin Luther King, Jr., including his speaking against war in Vietnam. "an injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." The second segment in the film is with John Stockwell, who was a former CIA Chief in Angola when George Bush, Sr was the Director, and the highest ranking CIA expert to go public. He estimated that more than 6 million lives have been terminated by US-CIA-supported covert operations. The third and final segment of this film is with Bill Moyers, which aired on PBS in 1987, called: "The Secret Government." This program give an overview and background of US-CIA covert operations and country interventions since World War II.

Following the film we hope for a respectful and lively debate on proposed policies and platforms of Candidates regarding US foreign policy and issues revealed in the Dorrel film. There is no turning back. We will either make democracy work in 2004, or enable an extreme right wing agenda to sever freedoms from America and threaten life everywhere. It is time for people to unite, and begin the process to transform government from the treacherous course it is now on.
