Editor's Notes:Each one of us can legitimately feel overwhelmed by being conscious of what is happening in today's world. The dark forces unleashed against humanity and nature are awesome. We see big doings on mainstream media with tornadoes, forest fires, droughts, floods, social and political unrest, terrorism, war, and then we read what is behind the scenes, or listen to Democracy Now, and start seeing a pattern of a takeover of the US government by crazy, power-influenced, greedy, self-fearful manipulated, neoconservative-militants.
Scott Ritter said that the word "conservative" can be defined as being fundamental. He told of his oath to protect and defend the principles of the US Constitution. Frank Dorrel's film compilation called "What I've Learned About U.S. Foreign Policy: The War Against the Third World," documents the US intelligence agency joining forces with former Nazis and mobsters, and the twisted lies and media manipulation to conduct a war on freedom and the environment.
The most effective way to confront it and turn it all around is to elect Dennis Kucinich as President of the US. Item 1 is a piece about the ripeness of these times and the candidate that can make a Kucinich win happen. Our choice is to follow or take leadership. Item 2 is another recent announcement by Dennis on his campaign, which is picking up momentum. On the GobeNet list serve someone described all the people responding to the Kucinich MoveOn campaign as "Kucinich spam!" And this is on the list serve supposedly working to ban weapons from space. Sometimes political groups get so caught up in the fight against an evil, that they can't see a strategic choice or direction for answers or a solution to the problem. The fractionation of political groups has been an obvious problem to me especially since our campaign to stop the Cassini Earth flyby. Many were too caught up in their campaign, that they didn't see the correlation and strategic actions to unite. Now is the time for a Primary that could totally transform the country and its direction. The least we can do is try to make a difference when change is possible. We each need to expand our world to find common ground and unity for change; the choices remain for us with either fear or love.

Chances are that you will hear about Dennis Kucinich, Democratic candidate for President, from someone you know who has heard him speak. Imagine having someone run for president who is intelligent, principled, spiritual, courageous, a person with depth, humor and compassion!
(Invariably, there are lots of positive adjectives). And, your friend will comment, "You'll really like what he stands for!" All true. Chances are that you then may hear yourself parroting the voice of conventional wisdom: "Yes, but how could Kucinich possibly win?" One of the "Yes, but .. discouraged comments I even got from one of my friends was," He is a wonderful man but he will not be president, he is too short and too radical."
Listen up! This article is about how twenty-first century communication plus whole-hearted, altruistic support makes it possible for Dennis Kucinich to become the Democratic candidate who beats Bush. This potential is a mathematical reality based on the social dynamics of reaching a critical mass. As unlikely as it may seem at first glance, Kucinich can be elected.
..John F. Kennedy was the first president elected with the help of television coverage, Dennis Kucinich can be the first president elected with the help of websites and emails. In the last presidential election, 106 million of the156 million registered voters actually voted. There are probably only two or three degrees of separation between those of us who have or will respond positively to Kucinich early in this election and the number of people needed to win the Democratic nomination, which is the first task.
The largest identifiable group that holds the similar views as Kucinich is the fifty million Cultural Creatives, sixty percent of whom are women. According to the data and research, we are Americans who care deeply about ecology and saving the planet, about relationships, peace, social justice, self-expression, and spirituality. We are both inner directed and socially concerned. We are optimistic, altruistic and idealistic, and believe in gender equality and reproductive choice. Especially relevant in a political campaign, we are volunteers, activists, and contributors to good causes. Neither those of us who fit into this category nor political strategists realize that in numbers and in influence that we have the potential to shape 21st century America by our active, whole-hearted support of Dennis Kucinich. (A second category of voters who respond to Dennis Kucinich as one of their own are working class people. This is a whole other constituency that trusts him to do right by them.)
Word of mouth epidemics follow the same geometric progression as the epidemiology of AIDS or SARS. A virus or an idea held at first by a few, spreads rapidly to many, and reaches a critical mass or "tipping point" and becomes an epidemic. This is how Dennis Kucinich as the least known candidate and without millions of his own or from special interests, could get his message out and be elected.
The most famous example of a word-of-mouth epidemic was Paul Revere's famous Midnight ride. On April 18, 1775, Revere and others in Boston became convinced that the British invasion was set for the next day. At 10 PM, he jumped on his horse and rode to Lexington, stopping in every town along the way to pass the word. The news spread like wildfire -- or like a contagion -- as those alerted by Paul Revere sent out riders with the message and roused their communities by ringing the church bells. The next morning when the British began their march toward Lexington, the region was prepared. In Concord, they were soundly defeated. The American Revolution had begun.
There were actually two midnight riders that night. Paul Revere took the message northwest of Boston, while William Dawes took it to the southwest. Both men carried the same message, rode through just as many towns and over as many miles, but Dawes' ride had little effect. In Gladwell's analysis--which is very relevant for a word of mouth campaign, it was because of the difference between the two men. People whose words are believed are not distinguished by worldly status and achievement, but by the particular standing they have among their friends and in Revere's case in the number of people who knew him as well. The people who can mobilize a word of mouth epidemic are known and trusted. They are information gatherers, connectors, persuaders, innovators or early adopters. If you are reading this, you are likely to be such a person.
I heard about Dennis Kucinich from Gina Thompson, an old friend who called me up and said that after she heard Dennis speak, she became involved in a political campaign for the first time in her life. She and John, her registered Republican husband hosted a fund-raising, meet-the-candidate event at their house, which provided the opportunity for me to hear him speak publicly as well as talk to him informally. To my amazement, I found that he had read The Tao of Psychology..
..The Hundredth Monkey in the allegorical story was the monkey who, upon learning a new behavior, tipped the scales, so that monkeys who were not even in direct communication now changed what they did. When a critical mass is reached, in this theory, new attitudes and behavior will spread through the species unconsciously. This can either be deducted through researched examples or grasped intuitively.
Dennis Kucinich can win when a critical number of people support his candidacy whole-heartedly. Lukewarm support for another Democratic candidate will not beat Bush. Whole-hearted support generates a commitment that is contagious to others. Go to

:..An interesting exchange occurred at yesterday's Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Candidates' Forum, in answer to a question about the "Digital Divide" that separates minorities and the poor from middle class whites in computer access. Congressman Dennis Kucinich received warm applause when he declared: "As long as we're spending so much money for the Pentagon, and so little money for education, we're going to have all kinds of divides in this country…The only way we're really going to close the divide in this country is to start cutting the Pentagon budget and put that money into education."
Howard Dean spoke next and commented: "I don't agree with Dennis about cutting the Pentagon budget when we're in the middle of a difficulty with terror attacks."
That's a stark contrast on one of the biggest questions facing Democrats. Dean describes himself as a fiscal conservative adamant about balanced budgets. But if the soaring Pentagon budget is untouchable, are we being candid with voters about delivering them an enhanced domestic agenda that Democrats can be proud of? With Democratic candidates promising increased spending in such areas as healthcare, education and the environment, how can the federal budget be balanced while Pentagon cuts are deemed off-limits?
Dennis Kucinich has made cuts in the bloated military budget central to his campaign. He has repeatedly pointed out that Pentagon spending will soon rival the military budgets of all other countries in the world combined, that unneeded and Cold-War era weapons are still being produced, that Star Wars missile defense is a boondoggle, and that the Pentagon has a trillion dollars in unreconcilable accounts..

Lustberg, who represented him in the criminal case. The American al-Qa'eda operative unmasked last week as having planned to bring down the Brooklyn Bridge was first detained in March, and has been used by the FBI for months as a double agent, it was reported yesterday. US authorities waited until last week to announce a plea bargain struck with Iyman Faris, a Pakistani-born lorry driver ordered to scout out terror targets, including the New York landmark. They did not say that Faris, who was also ordered to study ultralight aircraft, and the possibility of derailing a train into a chemical storage facility in Washington, had been under FBI control for months.

Both NORAD and the FBI played important roles in dropping defenses at critically important times in order to allow 9-11 to occur. The main conspirators are the White House think tank warmongers, the Pentagon, and the FBI. Of course, while we can see the broad outlines of how the conspiracy operated, we still do not know the mechanics of its planning and financing. Later, I will consider some suspicious entities that probably didn't play much of a role in 9-11: the CIA (I think the CIA is ironically a patsy in this case, although it appears to play a role in the cover-up), the State of Israel (as opposed to the Likudniks in the Bush Administration who represented what they felt were Israel's interests in advocating the war on Iraq and the future wars on Iran and Syria), al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
